Japan Market Intelligence (JMI) is pleased to
announce its panel of Japanese IT professionals
from a full spectrum of industries. The panel
is called IT Monitor Club (www.ITmonitorclub.com)
and allows for quick, cost effective recruitment
of highly targeted samples.
IT Monitor Club is managed by Steve Wiig who says "in mid-2002 we interviewed 150 market researchers regarding their research needs in Japan. The challenge of reaching IT Business Managers kept emerging as a reoccurring theme, so we developed IT Monitor Club. Currently we have around 5,000 managers and we intend to increase this growth over the coming months".
The IT professionals in the panel are classified according to their specific industry, IT function, company size and demographics.
In addition information regarding the managers' involvement in the selection, installation or support of hardware (Desktop PCs; Computer Servers; Server Backup Devices; Disk Arrays; Firewalls; Telephone Switching Equipment; PBX Systems; Uninterruptible Power Supplies) and software (Mail Server Software; Groupware; Database Server Software; Web Server, Web; Application Server Software; Application Development Tools; Networking Software; Networking Software for Business; Integration Software).
Mike Alfant, the founder of JMI, also chairs the High Technology Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ). According to Alfant "the panel has already been valuable in successfully completing projects for both US-based and Japan-based clients including focus groups, CLTs, telephone and Internet surveys. We intend to intensify these efforts to deliver faster and higher value research to our clients who are looking towards the IT industry in Japan".
