JMI introduces "Wireless Callback" to CLT studies

JMI has started using its "wireless jabber" technology in Central Location Tests (CLTs). Respondents simply jab their phone on to the device at the end of the survey, in return for an extra incentive.

The technique allows short callback surveys to be sent to their mobile phones as a follow-up to the main CLT survey.

According to Jeff Matsui, "its ideal when the client has seen findings of the CLT research and would like to pose a quick follow-up question arising from that analysis. We just send out the follow-up questions to respondents' mobile phones. Most of the results are received within hours".

Henceforth, this callback facility will be available as an option to all JMI clients conducting CLTs in Japan. JMI can also program it's jabber to divert consumers to a client 's own mobile website.

The jabber technology recently featured in a presentation to the 57th ESOMAR Congress in Lisbon and is being used to recruit consumers into mobile panels and opt in CRM databases.
