For a Japanese variety program called Megaten, JMI CVG was used to capture data and give results on what tourist actually notice at Himeji Castle in Hyogo Prefecture. It was found that many people visiting the famous attraction do not notice signs pointing them to intriguing areas of the castle grounds.

This famous castle has been used in films such as Last Samurai, James Bond film You only Live Twice and Shogun (1980 TV mini-series starring Richard Chamberlain).
