Inspired by the popularity of aromatherapy, Matsushita Electric Works Ltd. has introduced a light-emitting diode (LED) device to help heal the mind. By adding a few drops of aromatic oil, the compact unit acts as an aromatherapy device.

The LED heats the oil to emit a fragrance for the aromatherapy function. The LED can be set to light selected hues at 30 second intervals, or allowed to emit a variety of colors at intervals of 45 seconds.
